The Municipal Mayor of Polillo, ENGR. CRISTINA ENCALLADO-BOSQUE, was born and raised in Polillo, Quezon, by her loving parents Mr. Pedro Encallado and Mrs. Lourdes Sardea-Encallado. She is married to former mayor Engr. Isarme A. Bosque and blessed with two daughters Angelique and Crissa Anne. She is a Civil Engineer (and Materials Engineer) by profession, worked at a government agency for about five years before she and her family started a construction company.
Engr. Cristina E. Bosque is the Local Chief Executive of the Local Government of Polillo starting 2013, serving her constituents with dedication, commitment, and hard work, and in close coordination with the legislative body. She has also enhanced her leadership skills thru various trainings and short courses on Municipal Leadership and Governance at the University of the Philippines, and Forum for Executives on Administrative Governance at Civil Service Commission, among others.
As a God-fearing leader and public servant, she fully respects and acknowledges everyone’s roles and contributions in the formulation of different programs and projects of the Local Government of Polillo with the ultimate goal of providing much-needed basic services and facilities for the welfare of her constituency, especially the marginalized sectors. This has led to different recognitions received by this municipality which include:
- Good Financial Housekeeping 2013 - 2020
- 3rd Place in National Search for Malinis at Masaganang Karagatan 2018
- Outstanding Municipal GAD Focal Point System (3rd Class Municipality Category) in Quezon Province for 2018 and 2019
- Seal of Child Friendly Local Governance Regional Level - 2018 and 2019
Now in her last term, she still relentlessly pursue the development of Polillo in all aspects possible, despite the various challenges, remaining true to her mantra “Serbisyong may Ngiti” towards achieving its vision and mission.
